Kara 2017 WALK'N'RUN TO REMEMBER
October 14, 2017
Mitchell Park, Palo Alto

Since 1976 Kara has been providing compassion and care to those grieving in our community. This special event is a unique opportunity for individuals and community organizations and businesses to walk or run in memory of a loved one…to walk or run to support friends, family or someone grieving the loss of a loved one.... and to help Kara sustain its crucial services.  Our goal is to see over 300 participate on this meaningful day while raising more than $50,000 for Kara's important services.  Please join us!

If you'd like to volunteer contact Kara at walknrun2017@kara-grief.org

About Kara
Kara (EIN#94-2431483) is a nonprofit organization serving the San Francisco Bay Area since 1976. Our grief support services for children, teens, families and adults are provided primarily by trained volunteers who also have experience in healing from personal loss. Services are provided on a donation-basis.  Kara also provides community education programs on end-of-life issues and grief-related psychotherapy, as well as crisis intervention services in the wake of a death in the school or community organization. We are supported primarily by tax-deductible donations from individuals, corporations and foundations.
